Sunday 15th April 7.30-9.30pm, (£20 per session).

Experienced photographer and teacher Steward Ellett leads a guided walk around the Pier Head and Albert Dock area of Liverpoool looking at different ways of capturing photos in low light, using various in camera techniques to best photograph the city at night.

Equipment and Experience:

Essential: camera, tripod, sufficient batteries and memory cards. You must also have a working knowledge of how to access your own camera settings. (Advice on what settings to use will be provided).

Useful: cable release, graduated filters, mid range lens/es, small torch.

Dress for all weathers!

Trainer: Steward Ellett

“I have been a photographer for over 15 years. For the last few years I have been teaching photography on a practical level. This has included taking groups round Chester, Manchester and Liverpool. I have also taught individuals in the same manner. I have given numerous talks about photography and am used to managing groups of people.

I had my work published in numerous photography and wildlife publications. I have written several articles on ‘how to’ take photographs of various subjects. I have had several photos published in photographic books and have sold my work through different outlets. In the last three years I have been highly commended in the British Wildlife Photography Awards and have been published each year in their book.”

Meeting Point:

Pier Head Ferry Ticket Office.

Cost:

£20 per session. Participants will need to bring their own camera

Notes:
There are a maximum of 10 places available on each session, so early booking is essential.
To avoid a booking fee and pay by card, cheque or cash, please contact dot-art Services directly on 0845 017 6660

Feedback from previous Photowalks:.

“The session as a whole was excellent, covering interesting places both architecturally and photographically.”

“The content was extremely useful and relevant to what I wanted to do and I learnt so much about the settings for my camera and how to develop my skills. Steward also gave many ideas for composition that I hadn’t thought of.”

“It was Steward who made the walk so successful. He has exactly the right personality – passionate about what he does, ensuring that each person got as much out of the walk as they wanted, moving from person to person to help answer individual questions.”
