Kate has long been an admirer of the Impressionist movement, combining that love with a passion for Caravaggio and his contempories.
Since 2007, Kate has been producing vivid land and sea scapes from around the UK. Not one for painting a plain sky, Kate creates the power of the storm via the moody skies and high seas to the weather ravaged lands.
Kate now concentrates her work in North Yorkshire, home to her young family.
She either creates in her ‘studio’ or out and about on the moors, the wolds or the beaches of this dramatic county.
